HOTELS REVIEW - LUWI BUSH CAMP SOUTH LUANGWA PARK ZAMBIA
Luwi Bush Camp is a seasonal camp nestled under huge mahogany trees on the banks of a permanent lagoon, situated deep in the South Luangwa wilderness, lending the camp a rustic appeal and providing a truly African bush experience. Accommodation is in 4 luxury grass and thatch huts, with polished mud floors and individually designed interiors. All meals are served in the shade of the trees, with a view of the grassy plain that normally attracts lots of wildlife. South Luangwa National Park is known for its huge herds of elephants, large pods of hippos and huge numbers of crocodiles that inhabit the muddy Luangwa River. Thornicroft's giraffe are indigenous to the park. Lion, hyena, buffalo, waterbuck, impala, kudu, puku, bushbuck and Crawshay's zebra are also plentiful. It is also an ornithological paradise. Activities include walking safaris and game viewing.
