Kafunta Island Bush Camp is situated on the only inhabitable island on the Luangwa River, in the southern section of South Luangwa National Park. The camp is built with natural, locally sourced materials and chalets are set along the bank of the Luangwa River. The camp offers rustic comfort: each chalet has its own en-suite bathroom with running water, flush toilet and hot bucket showers, with private veranda overlooking the river. The camp is the base for daily walking safaris.
