Roosenwijn Guesthouse is a 4-star Victorian home built in 1904, which has been declared a national monument. It is a mere 5 minute walk from the historic Stellenbosch town centre. The hotel has 10 air-conditioned and stylishly decorated en-suite rooms furnished with antiques and a touch of Africa. Rooms include a romantic honeymoon suite. Great Location - Friendly Atmosphere,
We enjoyed our short stay at Roosenwijn as it was ideally located for touring the Wine Region and even day trips into Cape Town. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the facilities were good. Our room was a little noisey with road traffic but we were usually too tired after a busy day and always had a good nights sleep. I would stay here again if revisiting Stellenbosch and Cape Town.
Stay at Roosenwijn Feb 2006
We thought the house was beautiful, very clean, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. You can walk to the village easily. The air conditioning was wonderful, we needed it because the temperature was 39 degrees. The swimming pool was small but refreshing. The surrounding area is very beautiful.
