HOTELS REVIEW - AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE

Amboseli Sopa Lodge is situated in the Amboseli National Reserve, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, approximately 250 kilometres (155 miles) or four hours drive from Nairobi. The lodge has its own airstrip and offers accommodation in cottage style rooms. There are 83 rooms in total, 40 of which contain two queen size beds and 24 of which can be turned into triples on request. There are two rooms specifically designed for physically disabled persons and there is one honeymoon suite where there is complete privacy and a private fireplace and kitchenette. Each of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom and private verandah. Activities that can be enjoyed at the lodge include swimming in the pool, visiting the on site Masai market, balloon safaris, nature walks, dining at the Kibo restaurant, enjoying a drink at one of the three bars, sundowners and watching the Masai dancers in the evening.
