HOTELS REVIEW - SWEETWATER TENTED CAMP

Sweetwaters tented camp is located in the private Ol Pejeta conservancy in Nanyuki. One of only four private conservancies in Kenya, Ol Pajeeta also contains the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is the only area where visitors are able to view these highly endangered creatures. Sweetwater camp accommodates its guests in 39 luxury tents, each with its own thatched roof, en suite bathroom and private verandah with views of the waterhole for wildlife viewing. The camp also has full conference facilities and offers a wedding service. Full room service is provided as well as laundry and valet services. As well as visits to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, there are day and night game drives on offer, visits to Morani - the local tame black rhino, sundowners, a swimming pool, meals in the bush, guided bush walks, beauty treatments and camel trekking. The "Rhino Restaurant" in the main house offers five course cuisine consisting of African, Asian and International dishes. There are also two separate bars, the Waterhole bar overlooking the waterhole and the Khashoggi bar and lounge with log fires.
