Montusi Mountain Lodge is situated halfway between Johannesburg and Durban, with an uninterrupted view of the Drakensberg's magnificent Amphitheatre escarpment. Activities include horse riding, hiking, trout fishing, golf and swimming. There are 4x4 trails and mountain biking trails. Vistors can visit the Sterkfontein Dam nearby or the Spioenkop battlefield and game reserve which is approximately an hours drive away. The Basotho cultural village is also an hour away and visitors can take a guided tour and stop for tea and curio shopping.
