HOTELS REVIEW – MBOTYI RIVER LODGE SOUTH COAST NATAL SOUTH AFRICA
The lodge is located in Pondoland, at the mouth of the Mbotyi River. It is surrounded by tropical forest. There are 48 upmarket en-suite double rooms and 36 wooden cabins (12 of which have air conditioning, TV and bar fridge) and thatch bungalows with twin bedrooms. There are various activities available on site and off, such as, 4x4 trails, beaches, bike trails, bird watching, canoeing, fishing, swimming pool, tea plantation tours, walking trails, whale and dolphin watching, and lots of marine and land flora and fauna to observe.
