HOTELS REVIEW - NIBELA LAKE LODGE KWAZULU NATAL

The lodge is on the Nibela Peninsula of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park in Zululand. Guests are transported to the lodge via boat or, depending on the weather, by 4x4s. There is a 11-bedroom luxury lodge built above the sand. Each chalet is connected by raised wooden walkways which link to the main lodge facility. The main lodge has a restaurant, lounge area, viewing deck, Boma, curio shop and a swimming pool. Activities include guided walks of the lake, where guests can view the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) as well as hippo, crocodile, pelican, flamingo, and giant heron. There is a crocodile-breeding ground to visit and other attractions include bird-life and fossils. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge.
