HOTEL REVIEW - KNYSNA HOLLOW ESTATE KNYSNA SOUTH AFRICA
Knysna Hollow Country Estate, about 2.5km from Knysna town centre, is set on a secluded old country estate near Knysna's famous lagoon. Knysna Hollow is a great base from which to explore the town itself, the Garden Route and surrounding forests. The region is home to a myriad of fauna and flora, the loerie and Knysna’s elephants. The estate has 15 garden chalets and 49 garden rooms – all have television, tea- and coffee-making facilities and private patios. Chalets have telephones, ceiling fans, and a fireplace. The estate has a swimming pool. Activities include: a visit to the historical town, with its antique shops, African and local arts and crafts and coffee shops; a ferry ride across the lagoon and a walk through Featherbed Nature Reserve; ride on the famous steam train (Outeniqua Choo-tjoe) along the coast; or go to one of the area’s golf courses. The estate has a restaurant and a pub.
