Tubu Tree Camp Hotel Reviews Botswana Wilderness Safari Jao Moremi Game Reserve Holiday Accommodation Okavango Delta Fishing Mokoro Boat Bird Walking

LODGE REVIEW - TUBU TREE CAMP JAO OKAVANGO DELTA BOTSWANA
Tubu Tree Camp is situated on an island in Jao Reserve which borders the Moremi Game Reserve in western Okavango Delta. The camp is built on raised wooden platforms with spectacular views over the floodplains. The camp has 5 large tents with en-suite facilities, each with a small private deck in front. The main dining and lounge areas are also large elevated tents, with an outdoor pub area, a plunge pool and curio shop. Activities include day and night game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles, as well as guided walks. When the Okavango's annual flood is at its highest (normally May to late September), boating, fishing and mokoro trips are also offered. A variety of habitats ensures diverse and interesting game viewing. Children over the age of 8 years are welcome. What did you think?

"amazing small lodge in Okavango Delta"
This was the first lodge we stayed in during our trip to Botswana. It was the smallest, and our favorite. The rooms were beautiful and luxurious tents: see pictures.
Our guide, Moyo, was one of the best of our trip. He was knowledgeable and kind--and had an encylopedic knowledge of Botswana flora, fauna, culture, history, and geography. The food was wonderful and refreshing. You can't do better than this!
Liked: great staff and accomodations
