LODGE HOTELS REVIEW - KANANA CAMP OKAVANGO BOTSWANA SAFARI
Kanana is set on the Xudum River in the south west Okavango Delta, surrounded by a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn and home to a myriad of birds, plants, reptiles and animals. The camp has 8 spacious twin meru-style safari tents en suite, set on raised teak decks offering breathtaking views across the waterways. Depending on the flood levels, the water transforms this dry camp into a true water experience. Facilities include dining room, bar and deck overlooking the river with swimming pool. Activities include game drives and guided fly and spin fishing for tilapia, African pike and sharptooth catfish. The camp is open March to November and usually also December. Minimum age is 10 years in high season (August - October) and 7 years for rest of the year. What did you think?
