Kubu Lodge is on the banks of the Chobe River near Kasane, close to the border with Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is within 15-minutes of the Chobe National Park, famous for its elephants and buffalo, and 1-hour across the border to the Victoria Falls. The lodge has 11 thatched en-suite chalets on stilts, overlooking a shaded lawn with giant ebony and wild fig trees to the Chobe River's edge. Chalets have ceiling fans, mosquito nets and tea/coffee making facilities. The lodge offers a restaurant with excellent home cooking, bar, curio shop, nature trail for bird watchers and swimming pool. Game drives and boat cruises on the Chobe River are available.What did you think?

Slight prob with fishing not booked, but kubu lodge spoke to Nicky, and was sorted without a problem. Basically a damn good hol. Did what we wanted to do and seen lots... 2by2 arrangements flights transfers etc worked a treat. Wish i could have afforded the posh hotels they looked great
