Savute Safari Lodge is a luxury 5-star game lodge situated on the banks of the (now dry) Savute River channel in northern Botswana, inside Chobe National Park. The lodge has a large floodlit waterhole which attracts huge herds of elephant, lion, hyena, leopard, cheetah, black-backed jackal and other large game species. The lodge has 12 twin-bedded wood, thatch and glass double volume suites with glass sliding doors, private viewing decks and en-suite facilities. A lounge, library and cocktail bar are situated in the thatch and timber main building, with an upstairs viewing deck to enjoy Savute's enchanting sunsets. A large fireplace downstairs is equally inviting on winter nights. Children 12 years and older are welcome.
