Situated near the Cape Town Waterfront, the 4-star Protea Victoria Junction Hotel offers a combination of standard rooms and double-storey loft apartments. It's ultra modern facade and interior is specially styled to suit the vibrant atmosphere of its surroundings. Within walking distance are are a selection of upmarket restaurants and bars. The hotel has a lap pool and deck and two fitness and sports clubs are within walking distance of the hotel offering squash, tennis, swimming, bowls and state of the art gym equipment.

We were booked into this hotel for 6 nights but checked out after 1 ... the only good thing I would say is that the staff were pleasant enough and helpful...it is not situated in a good part of town, it's actually a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront down some scruffy roads. The hotel itself is dark and dingy and is 'over-themed'. The charges (wifi) are the highest I have come across in an hotel. But the thing I was most shocked by was the pool area. This is reached by crossing the car park and by getting a guard to unlock the gate. The pool itself is about 6ft (2m) wide - 2 people swimming in this pool would find it difficult... This hotel is probably ok for one night if you are on business, but not for a holiday.We moved to another Protea hotel - The President - which couldn't be more different, bright and fresh, sea views, lovely pool area and great staff.
Delighted with the holiday. Great expereince. Everything went very smoothly. 2by2 Holidays did a great job in terms of all land arrangements, guides, hotels etc. Will recommend 2by2 to friends.
