"I love this boutique hotel!"I can not fault this hotel!
It is in a brilliant location - right at the base of table mountain. From your balcony you can look up at table mountain, or down across cape town. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them - from discussing the days plans, to booking tables for supper. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. It has everything you could possibly want.
If you go to Cape Town you must stay in this hotel!

"Perfection"
We stayed at Kensington Place for 5 nights in room 8 and we loved everything about it. It was the prefect start to our South African trip. …..Our room was accessed via external steps and we also had a 'front' door which was very useful as we could park our car right outside the room. It had a balcony the length of the room plus an outdoor terrace with table and chairs. Simple but stylish decor, fantastic bed, fresh linens, great toiletries and a modern bathroom. It also had internet access and a laptop together with lots of other mod cons which we didn't use!The hotel is B&B but I believe an evening meal can be prepared on request. The breakfasts are great (the best we had in Africa). The hotel staff are simply fantastic and are on hand to offer advice on where to eat in the evening and where to visit. .. - the swimming pool is small but as they say perfectly formed and ideal for a quick dip to cool down. A couple of times in the evening we returned to the hotel and would have liked a drink at the bar only to find it closed but this is a minor fault and certainly did not spoil our stay. In summary we are so pleased that we picked this hotel and are glad we didn't opt for the larger ones on the waterfront. Cape Town is a great city with so much to see and do and we would not hesitate to recommed this city and hotel.
