HOTELS REVIEW - PORTSWOOD HOTEL CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA
The Portswood is a modern 4-star hotel with a nautical theme only a few steps from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town. The hotel has 103 luxurious, fully equipped, air-conditioned en-suite rooms with views of the harbour and magnificent Table Mountain. Non-smoking and paraplegic rooms are available. Facilities include a well-equipped gym with sauna, steam room and personal trainers and a sparkling swimming pool. The hotel's Quarterdeck restaurant, housed in the Old Convict Station building, a restored national monument, is the perfect setting to savour breakfasts and Cape Malay cuisine.

Hotel was excellent. We did the shark diving - I was a little green on the boat! Also enjoyed our day tours to Cape Point & Winelands.
Excellent - we were very happy with it
Good position and good service, but would have preferred something less formal. Loved the Cape Peninsula tour (Black Marlin voted our best lunch)and our picnics at Vergelegen & Zorgvliet!
Good location in easy walking distance to the V&A to the Waterfront. Friendly staff and service. The wheelchair accessible bedroom was very small, however the bathroom was a good size and fairly user friendly
