La Palmeraie is a 4 star hotel situated on Belle Mare beach on the East coast of Mauritius. There are 60 Andalousean-style rooms each with their own balcony. All rooms are air-conditioned and have either twin or king size beds, satellite TV, a mini-bar, private safe, bathroom (shower) with hairdryer. Sport and activities include a swimming pool, beach volley, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, a glass bottom boat trip and snorkeling. For a fee guests can enjoy water skiing, kite lessons, a speed boat trip, fishing, tube rides, catamaran cruises, windsurfing lessons, diving centre (PADI) lessons and deep sea fishing. The spa is open daily from 9 am to 8pm.
