Despite a change of management the previous day everything went well. Evening meals were very good and breakfasts were adequate, but will no doubt improve with the new management. Enjoyed the short Zulu dance that was laid on for us at no extra charge

We dearly loved staying at Isibindi, it was a wonderful location with friendly hosts and great food. I would have liked to have stayed longer. I could have happily sat for days on my verandah, drinking beer and looking out over the valley. We both really enjoyed the battlefields. Our guide Mike was excellent. You could not ask for a more interesting, likeable and helpful individual. His enthusiasm was contagious and his knowledge of the Zulu Wars, culture and language made for an extremely interesting trip.

Ron was fabulous - I can't thank him enough for bringing the battlefields alive. He is an excellent guide for the battlefields and great on the birds, animals, trees etc as well. He and Wiseman were comparing bird calls - the lesser spotted etc - I felt very iognorant but did my best to keep up!

Excellent. Also want to thank our battlefields guide Ron for his company on our holiday. We really enjoyed the time we spent with you and your insights into life in your wonderful country

We appreciated the privacy of the accommodation, but didn't like the oxtail on the set menu! Battlefields tours terrific but avoid the game drives and Zulu homestead meals as these are Mickey Mouse compared to Hluhluwe

Fantastic views and room, despite finding a scorpion in the bath!
