The waterfront Ibo Island Lodge is a luxury 4-star beach resort on Ibo island, one of 32 tropical isles in the beautiful and exclusive Quirimbas Archipelago, with access via Pemba in northern Mozambique. The lodge comprises three magnificent century-old mansions - Villa Paradiso, Villa Niassa and Villa Bela Vista - each with walls over a metre thick and lofty high ceilings. Ibo Island Lodge has a restaurant, shop and swimming pool. All bedrooms are individually designed and many open onto private verandas, where cushions covered in vibrant local fabrics adorn handmade chairs. Twin and king-size beds with mosquito nets are available. Furniture is handmade from indigenous teak and mahogany with brass and antique fittings. All rooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans. Ensuites have twin basins and large marble showers; some also have baths and outside showers. If you have children under 12, seek prior authorization from Ibo Island Lodge. The lodge has no credit card facilities. Activities on Ibo include scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming, sea kayaking, fishing dhow safaris and sunset cruises. If all else fails, relax. Try one of the lodge’s massage treatments.

Thanks for the beautiful holiday you organised for us on Ibo Island. Its an amazing place. People at the lodge were very kind, the scenery was incredible, the beaches fantastic, the food was even better.....!
