Drinkwater Guest Farm is a traditional Afrikaner guesthouse on a working farm near Ermelo, convenient as a stopover between the Drakensberg Mountains and the Kruger National Park. The bed and breakfast – which gets its name from the clear freshwater springs found on the property during the Anglo-Boer War – has eight ensuite bedrooms, with double, twin and single beds. Children are welcome and sleeper couches are available. Hearty farmhouse breakfasts and dinners are served. This is a malaria-free area, three hours’ drive from the Kruger Park. Rooms have heaters, fans, TV and free tea and coffee.The guesthouse has a lovely, park-like garden.

Informal, homely farm atmosphere with traditional Afrikaner hospitality
Not up to standard of Tintswalo or Isandlwana.
