Cape Heritage Hotel Reviews Cape Town South Africa Luxury 4-Star Boutique Hotel Waterfront Beach Safari Guesthouse Accommodation Holiday Tour

HOTELS REVIEW - CAPE HERITAGE CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
Cape Heritage is a luxury 4-star boutique hotel situated in the city not far from the Waterfront. The hotel forms part of Heritage Square, a group of late 18th century Dutch-style buildings that have been restored. The hotel’s interior is set off by high beamed teak ceilings, burnished hardwood and yellowwood floors. Each of the 15 air-conditioned en-suite rooms and suites have been decorated to showcase the original workmanship and architectural style as well as provide a classical and luxurious environment. Several excellent restaurants adjoin the hotel. Guests may use the swimming pool and sports facilities at the nearby Virgin sports centre.

The hotel was great and staff could not have been more friendly or helful. We were pleased that we were able to eat in the restaurants in Heritahge Square in the evening because walking further afield to eat was not a sensible option in that part of town. The golf around Cape Town was excellent as was the wine tasting

The nicest place I have ever stayed in. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the service stunning and the atmosphere calm and welcoming. The only thing wrong with Cape Town was the cricket score!

We thought the hotel was lovely and Nick a real character, but his staff were also excellent. Our guide Shawn looked after us really well and seemed willing to do anything for us. On our Cape Point tour when threatened by roads being closed for a marathon, he changed the direction. We did not feel rushed and were able to spend time lingering over the penguins and monkeys. We enjoyed the seal boat ride at the end of the day

Our most friendly hotel. We were not able to venture up Table Mountain as it was shrouded in cloud, however it enabled us to visit Robben Island which was quite a moving experience (especially as the sea was a bit choppy)

The accommodation was great. The staff made me cry on my birthday - the choc muffins and champagne were lovely but the unexpected Happy Birthday chorus overwhelmed me - hence my tears. They were whacky and absolutely lovely. Our guide Jamie was also a really lovely guy driving us around the Winelands - what more can I say.

Other than a problem we had with the plug in our basin (which was satisfactorily resolved) we were very happy - particularly with the friendly staff who tried their best to help wherever possible

We were very happy with the hotel, especially the rose petals which the hotel provided to make our wedding so very special! Loved Table Mountain and had a great day around the Peninsula - including a baboon who joined us for lunch! He sat on our table and swiped bread rolls to the amusement of everyone!!

The warm welcome in Cape Town was much appreciated after our unfortunate Air France experience! The accommodation was first class and the guides (Shawn & Rene)made our stay memorable. The wine tour was one of the holiday highlights with fantastic scenery, good food & excellent wine

We had an awesome time in South Africa. The details went like clockwork and the drivers/guides you work with to organise for us were great. Especially wonderful was Cape Town. We LOVED everything about it and starting with the Cape Heritage Hotel. It was lovely and Nick and his team were such fun hosts - it was like being entertained by Basil at Fawlty Towers! They are all a joy to speak with and treated us all like family

Nothing is too much trouble approach to service. Staff at Cape Heritage are probably the best we have ever encountered. All in all a fabulous birthday and holiday!

Hotel was great and had easy access to all the attractions.
However the best bit for me was the welcome and service given by the staff. Excellent.

Our favourite hotel was the Cape Heritage in Cape Town which was a very comfortable and peaceful island in a busy city and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fabulous, cannot recomment highly enough. The staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful. Location is great, food is great and rooms are stunning. Our room was luxurious, the bathroom was huge and big enough for 3 girls getting ready. We had a lovely balcony as well as a small lounge (which become clothes storage and dressing room)!

All rooms unique, very personal service and good access to heritage square - only down side is noise from courtyard in room 116 on Fri/Sat night.
