The Kimana Lodge is situated on the road between Amboseli and Tsavo. Accommodation is in a cottage style and the gardens are home to numerous birds. There is a swimming pool at Kimana Lodge and wholesome home cooking from the kitchen. The long sheltered verandah overlooks a natural spring frequented by birds and wild animals including frequent nightly visits from leopards, hyena, buffalo and other wildlife. The nearby hippo pools are a short walking distance away. There are 58 rooms at the lodge, 24 with shower facilities.
