Serena Mountain Lodge is situated on the lower reaches of Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro. The only ‘tree hotel’ to be built on the slopes of Kenya’s Mount Kenya, Serena Mountain Lodge offers game viewing with views of the mountain vista and the rainforest. The waterhole opposite the lodge attracts a range of animals including elephants, rhino, buffalo and waterbuck. Accommodation is available in 42 guest rooms, with full housekeeping services and en-suite facilities. Fishing expeditions, game walks, forest hikes and mountain climbs can be arranged. Arrangements can also be made to climb Mt Kenya. The hotel can arrange herbal massages and beauty treatments.
