HOTELS REVIEW - THE BURNING SHORE HOTEL
Situated on one of the world’s largest sand dunes and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Burning Shore Hotel is 15km from Swakopmund and Walvis airport and a 35km drive from Windhoek. The hotel has a cocktail bar, jacuzzi, 60 seater restaurant, seven luxury rooms and five luxury suites. All the rooms have private bathroom facilities. The Hotel offers adventurous excursions which can be organised on request and includes dune buggying, quad biking, fishing, sky diving, dune surfing, camel rides, pleasure flights and horse riding. Visits to Sandwich Harbour, Bird island, Walvis Bay Lagoon, the Moon landscape, Dune seven, Marine Safari's to Pelican Point Seal Colony and dolphin spotting.

The hotel it self was wonderful and in a good location. The service we received was dreadful and because of this it didn’t matter what the hotel was like as the service put a damper on the experience.
