Located near the top of the mountain, 20 kilometres from Sesriem, with easy access to key sites in the Namib-Naukluft Park and the Namib Desert. The wilderness camp has 9 guest bungalows, each with its own plunge pool and glass fold-back windows. The campsite can accommodate 18 people. Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold showers and flush toilets with a view. The rooms come furnished with fans and large mosquito nets. Shampoo, soap and insect repellent is also supplied. The main dining area is built under thatch with an outdoor deck and dinner can be eaten under the stars. For the desert experience, breakfast can be served in the desert under camel-thorn acacias. Day excursions include nature drives, walking activities, ballooning safaris, horse riding, birdwatching and photography. Children eight years and older are welcome. Families with children between eight and twelve are required to book private activities.
