HOTEL REVIEW - SAKAMANGA HOTEL
The Sakamanga Hotel is a large townhouse in central Antananarivo. The hotel's thirty-two rooms are divided into four price categories and are each uniquely decorated in traditional Malagasy style with memorabilia reflecting the history of the island. Services offered at the hotel include laundry service, room service, babysitting and luggage storage. The hotel has three restaurants which offer local and French cuisine as well as lighter meals. There is also a bar and reading room for guests to enjoy. The hotel can cater for small conferences in its conference room that adjoins the garden.

I stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Not the smartest hotel but clean, friendly staff and full of character.
I'd love to hear if the bar still has the various flavoured rums.
